Founded in 1999 by Mickey High, a Durham native and Navy veteran, Precision Appliance Repair has been serving the local community for over 25 years. Mickey served in Desert Storm as a nuclear technician, where attention to detail and technical precision weren’t optional—they were critical. That same mindset carries into every repair today. He’s the one who loves the challenge, enjoys solving problems, and appreciates that no two days—or appliances—are ever the same.
Behind the scenes is Trish, who keeps everything running smoothly. Originally from Fayetteville, she brings a strong organizational background from her time as an executive assistant in corporate offices. She also worked her way through college as an assistant bookkeeper, which comes in handy managing the day-to-day operations of the business. When she’s not in the office, you’ll likely find her out in the garden.
The next generation is already making its mark on our family business, bringing fresh energy while learning the values that built our reputation.
Nick has spent the past year training alongside his dad, gaining hands-on experience in the field. He will soon begin taking on his own service appointments, marking an exciting step forward in his professional growth.
Supporting him is his wife, Christina, who contributes her creative talents to our evolving branding and business image.
While Nick and Christina are positioned to carry the business into the future, they are continuing to learn and grow, ensuring that when the time comes, the transition will be seamless and built on the same foundation of quality, trust, and family values.
